I talked to Ellie Roy  and she is in the process of opening Argenta Art Company, inside of Argenta Bead Company, located at 703 Main Street, NLR.  So now in addition to the beautiful beads, stones, gems, findings, and art jewelry the south half of the building will house original works of local artists. 

Ellie hopes to stock art on the whimsical side, which will fit her bubbly, fun  personality.  Her goal is to have established locals as well as some emerging artists and a special section for high school artist.

Named in honor of the original Soul Art, the first gallery in Argenta.  Ellie is looking for artist and has set a target opening by the third Friday in November.   Artist can apply by going to Argentasoulart.com

Ellie decided to use the name Argenta Art Company instead of SoulArt Gallery, so I made changes to the article to reflect the correct name. So no you're not going crazy it did have a different name for a minute. They had a soft opening Friday Nov 21, read about it in the Argenta ArtWalk post.

Is she currently reworking the website? While I don't have a lot that would fit the "whimsical" aspect, I'd still like to submit some things that might be close enough for her liking.

She is a member, she is listed as Beadchick. You can upload pics here and email her an inquiry and tell her she can see your pictures in your gallery. She is sticking pretty much with whimsical but you never know. Apparently she is doing something about the site, probably because she changed the name of the gallery.

The Argenta Art Gallery has closed and is once again simply Argenta Bead Company, focusing on beads and classes as well as the Art Market.
