I look at lots of art obviously, and I know what styles and genres appeal to me, but oh where to start? In web development, the hardest part is the overall design of the site and the layout of the constituent parts. Once I have that accomplished, the rest of the process just seems to come gushing out of my head and onto the screen. I looked around on the web for some inspirational quotes from artists and found a few I liked... ”I am always doing things I can't do, that's how I get to do them.” -- Picasso "Those who do not want to imitate anything, produce nothing." - Salvador Dali Friends who are "real" artists tell me they go through periods of nothing and then a blast of creativity. So, what inspires you? Comments (1)

... My inspiration comes from many different people and things, sometimes just the challenge of doing something I haven't done before. Old vintage things I like rusty things and photos reflecting lives and time long gone,I feel like I'm borrowing memories. Other times silly absurd things. I guess.................. this thing that thing everything and nothing. |
I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
