imagesMaybe you heard a rumor or two about a possible ACAC move..? Well this is the case! The Arkansas Community Arts Co-operative are moving from our present location on the 14th block of south Main St. in Little Rock to our new location on South Rodney Parham in between Vestcom and Kanis park. The old Gallery B building.

The A.C.A.C. will initiate its move at the 1409 south main st(down from Jaunitas Cantina) this Sat. at 11am. The Idea is to have at least a half a dozen or so people maybe split up into a couple of work camps utilizing a couple of trucks, and at least one trailer. The moving part will last most of the day. Think until 5 or 6ish. Volunteer work, no matter how brief is much appreciated. Do what you can.

This will be one pretty straight forward move. Allot of the hard, general stuff ie. deconstructing, boxing up stuff will already be done by this Sat. We should be able to move a large majority of our art supplies,  furniture and what not with your help.

Any folks involved with the AC-AC in the past will have an opportunity to check out the space first hand before our next event come later this month(more on that later).

So yeah... This sat. meet at the 1409 south main st. AC-AC space at 11am. There should be some one there at the space pretty much all day to help with facilitation of work and stuff.  If not call me Mark Lewis @256-5518. This is my personal cell number. I'm the contact person for persons with any work day related questions.

thanks,

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
