| Sculptors For Bernice Garden Project Named |

 SOMA announced the names of the sculptors who will create pieces for the Bernice Garden, under the grant to Southside Main from Main Street Arkansas. They are Maribeth Anders, Robert Best, Elena Petroukhina, and the team of Heidi Mullins and Nathan Larson, of Little Rock, along with David Harris of Royal AR.Canvasjunkie member Elena Petroukhina was one of the sculptors chosen. Congrats Elena!! Everyone email Elena and give her a big Way to Go!!!! Elena found out about the project here on canvasjunkie, so next time you see a call to artists here throw your hat in the mix you can be chosen for some good projects!! As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
