The show will be in our new space on Rodney Parham, 900 S. Rodney
Parham, in the old Gallery  B on Feb 14 and 15.

We've hosted seven major community art sales over the past eight
years.  Now, we have our own space to hold them in and we'll be having
this one there.  Its a big show and sale and lots of fun.  Usually a
couple hundred people show up and we have music, wine, food and people buy art.  We regularly sell $2,000 to $3,000 worth or art and the
space is usually filled up all night with people on opening night.
The commission we're taking is 30%. That leaves 70% of all sales going straight to the artists.

There is a 5-piece maximum number of pieces per artist, unless they
are small and contained in a case or box. Also, we'll have trouble
displaying very large pieces since our space size is a bit limited.
There is also an artist entry fee of $10 if you're already an ACAC
member, and $20 if you're not a member.

The deadline to tell us yay or nay if you want to be in the sale is  Feb.2nd.  The 30% commission and the entry fee go straight into our non-profit member-run cooperative to pay our bills and keep the space open.
Also, Please let us know if you have any display equipment needs like
special mounting, tables, etc.

Please call or email me with any questions and again, please let us
know by Feb. 2 if you are participating in the show.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
