aac_childrens_theatre_windinwillows_sm(LITTLE ROCK, AR) – The Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre will hold auditions on Saturday, February 7, 2009, at 5 p.m. for The Wind in the Willows, on stage May 1 – 17, 2009.

Auditions are open to ages 6 and up.  No preparatory material is required.  A small school photo is appreciated. Comfortable clothing and shoes that allow freedom of movement is strongly recommended.  Those planning to audition need to be punctual.  All auditions are held in the Lower Lobby of the Arkansas Arts Center.

The Wind in the Willows, based on the classic book by Kenneth Grahame, opens in the spring.  Ratty, Badger and Mole enjoy lazy boat rides and picnic excursions until the gadget-crazed Mr. Toad careens onto the scene.  After a merry spree of clashes and crashes, the pals team up to battle the scheming stoats and wheedling weasels who attempt to take over Mr. Toad’s home.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
