![]() Bre and David Harris owners of Light and Time Design Studio and Art Foundry and co-founders of the Arkansas Sculptors Guild are hosting other Arkansas Sculptors Guild Members showing of Horses in their downtown Studio Gallery in Art Church. We formed Arkansas Sculptors Guild as a means to promote the very talented Sculptors of Arkansas, too often over looked for many of the big projects around the state. Since I personally have had people ask if we have any horse and cowboy art I decided that I needed to show the very talented Guild members that do that kind of work and what better time to do that than when people have horses on their mind. Arkansas Sculptors Guild Members Linda Hall of Shirley, Anne Mitchell and Margaret Warren of Clinton all have brought their pretty horses to Hot Springs. ARSG’s Linda Hall features Western themed or Cowboy Art, Anne Mitchell’s Abstract horses range in size and price, while Margaret Warren’s Horse varies from stylized in bronze, stainless steel and whimsical ceramics. We are hoping that the people of Hot Springs will welcome and come and see the horses starting this Friday’s Gallery Walk. By coming out to see the Horses that are showing support of Arkansas Sculptors sending a very positive message to our Artist that we value them and their talent. In the long run that will reach our state officials and encourage them to support our talent for major art placements first. “So many of the big projects never even come up for open bid to Arkansas Sculptors,” states Bre Harris. We have even heard statements made that there are not any sculptors in Arkansas and I want the people of the state to know that is not true. We have a large group of very talented sculptors across the state, and we are your neighbors, we pay taxes here, we support the economy of Arkansas. WE are Arkansasians! “All the Pretty Horses” will be on display in the Light and Time Design Studio at ArtChurch thru February. Comments (0)

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
