Little Rock - The Arkansas Community Arts Cooperative will host the opening night of its Valentine’s community art show and sale on Saturday, February 14th and continuing through Saturday, February 28th at the new ACAC space on 900 S. Rodney Parham Rd. in Little Rock.

Come join the ACAC for a night you will remember and support local artists. Festivities will begin Saturday night at 6:00 and will continue until 10:00 pm. Food and drink will be served and there will be live music entertainment provided by The Libras from Little Rock.  The event will draw hundreds of local artists, art buyers, and arts’ community supporters. Artists' work will remain on display for two weeks during the following hours: Monday-Friday: 12-2pm & 5-7pm; Saturday, February 21st: 12pm-4pm, Sun. Feb. 22nd closed.  February 28th is the last day of the sale.

Free parking and security will be provided. Admission is free, while a $5 donation is encouraged.

The sale will feature the works of over 48 artists who live and work in Arkansas. A wide range of art will be on display including paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery, sculpture, fashion, sketches, and more. Payments for art can be made by cash, check, or by Visa/Mastercard.

The art sale will benefit the ongoing work of the Arkansas Community Arts Cooperative (ACAC). The ACAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing arts and music resources to the community, with a primary focus on youth and the underprivileged who would otherwise not have access to music and arts resources.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
