This annual two- week summer camp combines fun theatre instruction with creative art projects.  Children will exercise their imaginations by making collages, working with clay, wood working, mask making, painting and more.  They will also learn basic theatre concepts including pantomime, improvisation and movement.

Tuition for Junior Arts Academy is $430.  Arkansas Arts Center Members receive a discount.  Scholarships are available to help offset the cost of tuition. Inquire when registering.  To register, call (501) 372-4000.  Registration is limited.  Due to the popularity of this program, early registration is recommended.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
