Artist on the move.....

150-1383 Fayetteville sculptor Hank Kaminsky has announced outlines of a plan to reorganize his sculpture studio in an effort to find new markets and expressive outlets. The plan includes closing his large scale studio on Government Avenue and moving to a smaller space at The Art Experience on Martin Luther King Blvd.

Future plans also include the revitalization of Kaminsky's jewelry work, (left behind in the 1980's,) and developing collaborations with other jewelers including former apprentice Olivia Sordo and young designer Nikki Jacoby.

Kaminsky is also working on a new series of wall sculptures: "Explorations in the Matrix." The new pieces are relief sculptures using forms and words to explore what Kaminsky calls, "The invisible web of energy everywhere around us and our interconnections with it." Many of these sculptures are also paintings, adding the dimension of color.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
