This notice came from Nathan Beatty

Hi all,

Brooke Benham (the woman who let us use her building for the Goddess Festival for FREE) is having a benefit runway fashion show for Children's House of NWA.  100% of the proceeds go to them.  The evening will start with Native American dancers which will then be followed by a runway fashion show with Brooke's two new lines that were inspired by her Native American heritage.  These designs are young and fun!  The evening will continue with hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and a silent auction.  Please check out Brooke's website http://ultrastudios.org/FashionShows.html and her facebook pages at http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=70193268465  The Fashion Show will be held Thursday, April 30, at 7 p.m. at the same building as the Goddess Festival, 118 W. South St. in Fayetteville.

Pass this along to anyone you think might be interested!  Let's help her spread the word.  Thanks! Manon                   When:  April 30th, 2009   Where:  118 W. South Street Fayetteville, Ar   Time:  7:00 p.m.  Tickets: $50.00

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
