Alexa Unser-Mixed Media Artist and Printmaker July 11,2009 1pm-4pm @ 201 W. 4th St, North Little Rock (Inside the Frist Presbyterian Church on the corner of 4th and Maple St) On July 11, 2009 Black Box Press will sponsor a free printmaking lecture/demonstration with mixed media artist and printmaker Alexa Unser. Unser will demonstrate several mono-printing techniques and present a talk on printmaking and her creative process. This demonstration is offered in conjunction with an exhibit of Unser’s work that can be seen on display at the THEA Foundation located in downtown North Little Rock. I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
