(LITTLE ROCK, AR) – The Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre will hold auditions on Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 1 p.m. for Rio Grandie Candi and… The Mummy, on stage October 23 – November 8, 2009.
Auditions are open to ages 6 and up. No preparatory material is required. A small school photo is appreciated. Comfortable clothing and shoes that allow freedom of movement are strongly recommended. Those planning to audition need to be punctual. All auditions are held in the Lower Lobby of the Arkansas Arts Center.
Rio Grandie Candi and… The Mummy is a Children’s Theatre original production. Rio Grandie Candi, the Cut-out Cardboard Cowgirl, rides again. With the help of her faithful paper pony, Bobolink, Candi unwinds the mystery of the Mumblin’ Mummy. This play was created in conjunction with the exhibition World of the Pharaohs: Treasures of Egypt Revealed, presented by Stephens Inc. Investment Bankers, on view September 25, 2009 – July 5, 2010.

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
