"Team Argenta" competes this weekend in the Little Rock 48 Hour Film Project. It's the first year for this unique team. It's a group consisting of an award winning television producer and production staff, stellar musicians, a Nashville recording producer, writers, actors, actresses, visionaries and lovers of the arts. And it all takes place in the Argenta Arts District. 


Team leader Tim Vahsholtz organized the team to promote fun, community involvement in Argenta. "I always have wanted to compete in the 48 Hour Film Project. Now that I live in Argenta, it seemed only natural to produce our film here. Besides, the district has so many unique places for shooting the film."

The Argenta Downtown Council is helping to sponsor the team. John Gaudin, ADC Board president says, "We have several businesses on board helping the crew, providing locations, food and other support. And, as we have a community theater project on the horizon, we plan a showing of our finished film in Argenta and perhaps hold a film festival later on."
