Local artist Sulac is known for his creative expressions using unusual media including cardboard boxes and magic markers. Challenging in nature, his art is often perceived as outside the norm and is accessible to the masses. In addition, wood-cut prints by Matt TerAvest and folk art paintings by Melverue Abraham will be displayed. The Gallery features 25 local artists including Robin Hazard-Bishop, John Kushmaul, Marty Smith, Dan Thornhill, Peggy Roberson, Rhonda Reeves and Elena Petrouchino, Tim Valsholtz, Jim Westbrook and Patricia Davis. In addition, the Gallery has stained glass artworks by John Matz of Ohio and and blown-glass objects by Rollin Karg of Kansas. New to the Gallery are Native American artifact reproductions, pottery and gourd baskets by Valerie Goetz .Recently opened in the historic Argenta area of North Little Rock, the Ketz Gallery is located at 705 Main Street. I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
