Lance E. Nichols will be speaking at The University of Central Arkansas on Monday February 1, 2010 in the Stanley Russ Building Room 103. The topic will be "Directors: Working with Actors- Exploring the different approaches of directors in working with actors”. There will be a follow up Q & A. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend this free event. The engagement will begin promptly at 1:00 pm. Lance is appearing in the UCA Digital Filmmaking Short “The Color of Blood” written and directed by student filmmaker and CanvasJunkie member, J. Casey Kucera.

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
