Benjamin Bullins is an award winning photographer and artist from New Orleans. He graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and also achieved a degree from Delgado Community College. Benjamin lives in New Orleans with his wife and currently operates a construction company with his brother. Pre-Katrina, Benjamin worked in New Orleans as a professional photographer for editorial magazines, newspapers, and individual clients. He has been published in over 30 editorial magazines and newspapers, including some national media. As a photographer Benjamin likes to incorporate texture and vibrant colors into his work. As an artist, he is especially interested in found objects which can be incorporated into art. Benjamin spends a lot of his time searching for found objects around industrial buildings, beaches, railroad tracks, and other interesting locations around New Orleans. His art education combined with his construction background and unique eye, gives him the talent to put objects together in a very creative way. The beauty of man made objects enhanced by natural elements gives birth to a collection of art which Benjamin brings to life in each figure that he creates. Benjamin thanks the Lord everyday for his artistic talent.

Mark Waguespack is a native New Orleanian residing in Memphis while he pursues a B.F.A. at the Memphis College of Art (2010). He studies various techniques in Printmaking, that includes Papermaking, Bookbinding, and Graphic Design. Previously he has worked at summer camps teaching Giant Puppetry, stilt-walking, and also assisted artist Allison Stewart during the past two years. Bullins

Nathan Berry is an avid explorer and photographer who lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Over the last two decades, Nathan has explored and documented hundreds of buildings, both active and abandoned, as well as countless structures, tunnels, and various architectural landscapes throughout the United States. Urban exploring is the discovery, or rediscovery, of the man made world that surrounds us all. It is the hobby, and in many cases, the lifestyle of creating your own adventure in a modern era of social conformity and urban decay. It is the desire to step outside the everyday bounds of acceptability in an effort to experience the unfamiliar and forgotten realms that exist beneath your very feet, through every doorway, and stories above your head.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
