 ArtWeek ’10 is the second annual weeklong art festival bringing Little Rock and North Little Rock together. As Galleries, museums, restaurants and other host artists, musicians and performers. There will be fun and exciting events in both cities every day for 10 days in May.
The ArtWeek Committee is hosting an art poster contest for artists to create an original work of art to represent ArtWeek ’10. The prize-winning art may be used as part of the ArtWeek ‘10 campaign, including posters, postcards, bus banners, bus shelters, newspapers ads, TV ads, and others. Winning art may be reproduced and distributed as part of the official ArtWeek ‘10 poster and featured on the ArtWeek website. The winner will receive a cash prize of $1000. Comments (0)

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
