 Ladies, it’s that time of year again. The Suite Ladies are having their Annual Woman’s Worth Celebration and this year we’re partnering with the Arkansas Community Arts Coop (ACAC). A Woman’s Worth 3 Celebrating women in the Arts Saturday, March 27 at 6pm Our goal is to provide a special opportunity to discover and celebrate art and experiences in a variety of forms and mediums that help expand our perceptions of women. The celebration will end with an all female (or female-led) concert. Please join us as we take a moment to honor the originality, beauty, imagination and multiple dimensions of women’s lives and to reflect on the contribution of women to the arts. I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
