thorbeckeplein-artBernice Garden Art Market Coming Soon

WHEN: 9am-2pm, every Saturday      Beginning May 15 -September 15           WHERE: The Bernice Garden at the corner of Daisy Gatson Bates & South Main in Downtown Little Rock.

I am  working with Village Commons to establish an art market at Bernice Garden.  The market will have a variety of Arkansas artists' works and goodies for purchase.    Artists interested in selling their work through the Bernice Garden Artist Community should contact Rhonda Reeves, manager of the community and market, at 501-350-4055 or e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The market goal is to help promote and unite the community with the arts and artists.    We believe that creativity fuels inspiration, support encourages action, and that we're stronger in numbers, so let's get together.

The Bernice Artist Community wants to provide a great affordable venue where you as artists may offer your art for the community and its visitors.  We will work with the artists and community to actively promote the market, the artists and the community.  All art will be juried and must be produced by local artists, no commercially mass produced items will be accepted.

We have a limited number of openings so please email if you would like to be included as a vendor.   Our kick off will coincide with ArtWeek '10 and will include festivities that Saturday by SOMA.   If you would like to register for a space please email me This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
