 The THEA Foundation will host the opening reception for Classroom to Canvas: An Art Teacher Exhibition on Friday, August 20th from 5:30-8:30pm, a performance with classical guitarist Devin Matthews will also take place during the reception. Classroom to Canvas features the works of art teachers Jenny Delgado, Lori Kirchner, Erica Jewell, and Ashley Robinson. Refreshments will be served. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. The exhibition will remain on view during regular gallery hours (Monday-Friday 9-5pm) until August 27th, 2010 at the THEA Foundation Center for the Arts, 401 Main Street, Ste.100, North Little Rock, AR 72116.

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
