Sherman's work is a culmination of 52 years of painting and living life as a working artist. Meditation and Spiritual Exploration are common topics found in Sherman's work. There is a reoccurring theme of mandalas (a graphic and often symbolic pattern usually in the form of a circle divided into four separate sections or bearing a multiple projection of an image). The viewer is to gaze upon the center of the painting repeating a message of love, peace, God or any word that brings tranquility to those that view the piece.

"The more you relax the more you start to see. The images move for some people. Just stay relaxed and the colors will begin to pulse. Remain relaxed. Everything will be encompassed in bright white light, you are now centered, relaxed, at peace. It feels good to laugh and love."~Robert Sherman

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
