headerThe Arkansas Community Arts Cooperative, nonprofit organization would like to announce the hiring of a new Executive Director for the organization, Chad McGriff. Chad comes to the organization with several years experience in non-profits, fund-raising, event planning, and special events coordination.

We are also pleased to announce that with his help and direction the Board of ACAC has planned a move from the current location to Downtown Little Rock. The new event center, meeting space, and studio will be located at 608 S. Main Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. The Board and Executive Director are thrilled to be able to offer a space that is not only accommodating for larger events, but in the future, host a wide variety of workshops, educational opportunities, arts shows, fashion shows, and live concerts.

The ACAC plans to develop a multimedia avenue for independent artists, bands, and entertainers and provide an atmosphere and space to those that may not have the opportunity elsewhere. ACAC is currently planning several events to help in this new adventure and will be announced soon.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
