(LITTLE ROCK, AR) –The Arkansas Arts Center will host its annual Museum School Sale on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Clear Channel Metroplex.
The Museum School Sale features work by Arkansas Arts Center Museum School faculty and students. Items for sale include pottery, photography, jewelry, fused glass, watercolor paintings, woodwork, drawings and pastels. “Original works of art will be available for purchase – pottery, paintings, drawings, photography, woodwork, glass, and jewelry. The Museum School Sale is a great opportunity to add to your personal art collection, support local artists or buy holiday gifts,” said Museum School Manager Andrea Tompkins. As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
