Ketz Gallery will feature "All Things Wild," an exhibition of paintings by local artist Caren Garner, ” on March 16 through May 10. An opening reception is scheduled on Friday, March 16 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in conjunction with Argenta Art Walk.The reception will provide participants an opportunity to meet Caren and other artists of the Gallery. Light refreshments and wine will be served.
Caren Garner's latest series of work features experimental and non-objective work in water media, mixed media and collage work with textural elements added. A major subject included in the series is African wildlife. Caren, who has studied art in Washington DC and Arkansas, has work display around the country including the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a patriotic mural on the Pallative Care Unit at the John L. McClellan VA Medical Center in Little Rock. Caren teaches art and is a member of Arkansas League of Artists and Mid-Southern Watercolorists.
In addition, Peggy Roberson, an artist of the gallery will display her work at Blake's Furniture at 3rd and Main during the Argenta Art Walk.
