 Call for Submissions:
Artists are invited to donate drawings for an exhibition that will create a unique global art experience for the first time, in Conway Arkansas. We are interested in your drawings, sketches, photographs, prints, and art ephemera, which together will create a glimpse at current mark-making habits of artists around the world.

 This year for Mills Pond House Gallery’s upcoming Halloween season, we are hosting dramatic Halloween performances within the gallery for the month of October. The house will be decorated with items referencing the time the Mills Pond House was built, and actors will tell stories to create an eerie, unsettling experience for guests. To go along with these performances, we are currently seeking artwork to hang within the gallery among the props and decorations. For this year’s Halloween inspired exhibition, we are seeking works ranging from the macabre to the whimsical. We are primarily interested in works that portray frightening subject matters cast in a philosophic, romantic or humorous light.

 The Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall recently announced that the 4th Annual Pinnacle Art Festival will take place this year. The festival will be produced by Exit 82 Events. The Promenade's administrative assistant, Kathryn Healy, made the announcement and revealed show dates of September 10th, 11th, and 12th.
A juried art show and sale, the festival features artists from Arkansas and the USA in a street-festival atmosphere of art, music, food, and green living among the upscale shops of the Promenade Mall in Rogers, Arkansas.  The Arkansas Arts Center is Accepting submissions for the 52nd Delta Exhibition and the 37th Toys Designed by Artists.
The Delta Exhibition is a competition that is open to all artists born or living in one of the following states: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Awards include a Grand Award of $2,500, Two Delta Awards of $750 each as well as the Contemporaries Delta Award $250.
Toys Designed by Artists is an international competition that is open to all artists. Toys may be functional or non-functional. Purchase Awards total $2,500.
Both Exhibits run December 17th - February 20, 2011.
The Arts Center is going green this this year! As a tree saving measure, the call for entries are now online. To reduce plastics in the environment images may be now upload your images for submission online. Printed materials pertaining to the exhibits are being printed on papers from sustainable forests and are manufactured using renewable energy. Visit www.ArkArts.com for online entry forms.
Timeline for entries: September 13, 2010 deadline for submissions. October 12, 2010 selection notifications mailed to artists. November 12, 2010 deadline for accepted work delivered to the Arkansas Arts Center. December 17, 2010 exhibitions open. February 20, 2010 exhibitions close.

 The Eureka Springs School of the Arts is currently seeking qualified instructors for the 2011 season in the disciplines of two-dimensional Art, fiber, metal, clay, wood, and glass.
