One of our clients is looking for a Graphic Design Artist for a computer game. A breakdown of what he is looking for is included below. If you are interested, or know someone who would be, email me back with name, contact info, and link to website containing artwork.

Thanks!

Daniel

Here is the information on the game development .  Can you please solicit it with your contacts and see if anyone is interested in partnering on the opportunity?

I would need the following:

1. A background graphic of 1024 x 768 pixels

2. Card back graphic (the design on the back) : Cards are 72 x 96 pixels in size

3. 52 card fronts of various designs.  Do NOT have to be poker cards but should resemble poker cards

4. A bonus bar on the right like the one shown

5. A score area

6. A menu button

7. A current round area

8. Pop-up graphic elements that match the theme to show: New Round, Round Complete, Game Over, No More Moves, Times Up, Get Ready

9. Menu graphics that show: New Game, Leaderboard, Exit

10. A title screen (again, 1024 x 768)

11. Various 48 x 48 pixel animated elements in the background  such as glows and small highlights to randomly appear during gameplay

12. Other elements as needed of similar nature

Art Direction:

I'm looking for something that "feels" mystic and of the fantasy genre. Think Lord of the Rings here.  A magical background with a theme to match the entire game.  The above one is what I would call a Mayan theme for example.

I'm looking for someone who can create graphics with lots of color, contrast, and "feel" like a game visually.  I have many other projects to do as well and would really enjoy finding a local artist to work with.

Thank you,

Todd

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
