Bernice Garden Art Market Coming Soon   

WHEN: 9am-2pm, every Saturday      Beginning May 15 -September 15           WHERE: The Bernice Garden at the corner of Daisy Gatson Bates & South Main in Downtown Little Rock.

Fee $150   2 Day Portrait Sculpture Workshop, Arkansas' only stop for "Sculpt Across America".  Karen's excellent adventure teaching sculpting from California to DC and back.

Dive into Sculpting the Portrait with a strong foundation. Learn to get a good start everytime by working on a soild process combined with naturalistic techniques to achieve the acuracy you've been striving for. Karen Cope will be teaching specific methods that will increase your accuracy, focus on anatomy, process and modeling techniques with a naturalistic approach reminiscent of The Old Masters.

The American Advertising Federation Little Rock Chapter will be awarding four $1200 scholarships for the fall semester. You have to be a full-time Arkansas college student with an advertising, art, journalism, film, or radio/TV major and have at least a 3.0 GPA in that major.

Arte Latino II strives to capture the passionate voices of a vibrant people whose culture is an extension of and a connector to the many countries, races and national heritages they bring to America. Weaving together very different experiences and  traditions, Latino artists create threads of identity that link us to the heart and soul of Latino culture in America. Open to all Latino artists living and working in America.

Artists may submit work in any media that expresses the experience of being Latino in the United States or that communicates the history of their journeys or their culture that connects them with their Latin heritage.
