On August 15th Jason Horejs will be in Little Rock for a one day art marketing workshop. During the workshop he will be talking about pricing your work, along with a host of topics critical to the artist who is planning to approach galleries for representation, including how to create a cohesive body of gallery-ready work, how much work you should have in your inventory before you approach galleries, how your portfolio and website should be organized, where you should look for galleries and how to research which would be the best fit for your work, and, most importantly, how to approach them for representation.

Join Jason for this intensive workshop that will give you an inside understanding of the gallery business. To learn more, to register, and to watch a free recording of his portfolio workshop, please visit www.xanadugallery.com/arkansas. Seating is limited - as of July 23rd five of the available twenty seats have already been filled.

This is a great opportunity for you to see the gallery business from the perspective of a gallery owner, understand how we select our artists and ask every question you've ever had about the gallery business.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
