Come join us for a show for up and coming artist Alana Tyson. She will have new and pre-existing pieces on display.

Alana is a hairdresser and owns a salon in Little Rock and also travels to salons regionally while teaching advanced hairdressing for TIGI (makers of Bed-Head) serving on both their Artistic Team and Creative Forces Team.  "Painting was just a natural progression of my creativity and my work as a hairdresser and a colourist," she says.  She has been painting for approximately four years.  Her work is abstract, bold and heavily textured.

Light refreshments will be served.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
