Up to $2,000 will be available for juror-selected purchase awards, which become part of the Small Works on Paper permanent collection.  The entry form is available on the Arkansas Arts Council website at To be eligible to submit entries, artists must be members of the Arkansas Artist Registry, or they may join for free at time of entry. The Arkansas Artist Registry is a comprehensive online gallery of more than 500 Arkansas artists and their work. The Registry serves as a valuable resource for member artists to market their work and to connect to collectors, curators or anyone searching for artists and their art. Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
