Greg Thompson Fine Art in Argenta will soon be Jon Shannon Rogers exclusive local art agent. We are excited Greg Thompson will be marketing Shannon's work both locally and nationally. Greg's success speaks for itself and we are proud to be associated with his gallery. Greg and Shannon have agreed that he can have one last sale before Greg starts marketing Shannon's art.
The Arts Scene Gallery will be offering Shannon's paintings, drawings, and watercolors at reasonable prices. This current body of work is primarily his 2009/10 New York Studio School, Master's program studio work. There are large (such as 3' x 8'ft., 4' x 7'ft.) to small works in all mediums.
Shannon will not be able to attend the show, as he is in New York finishing his final year at NYSS. We hope you will join us Saturday, Sept. 19, 5-9 pm or Sunday, Sept. 20, 2-5 pm.
Thank you,
John and Dana Rogers |

ACAC is in the process of moving into the new Main Street permanent headquarters. To facilitate that move, and give everyone a sneak peek of the new space, on Thursday, September 23rd, they have put together an outstanding evening called "Dining with the Stars." For a $75 ticket, you get a 3-course catered dinner with a working artist celebrity at every 10-person table. Each artist has donated some of their work for a silent auction, and after dinner several of them will give short performances. Our amazing guests include:
Korto Momolu (Runner-up, "Project Runway") Ray McKinnon (Oscar-Winner, "The Accountant") Lawrence Hamilton (Broadway star) Graham Gordy (screenwriter, "War Eagle," "Love Guru") Robert Baker (actor, "Grey's Anatomy") Emily Galusha (model, painter, Ark. Times "Artist of the Year")
... and several more of staggering skill and prestige.
The money raised will go towards finishing our new HQ, and purchasing the necessary equipment for our rental workspaces.
The easiest way to get tickets is to go to www.ACACArkansas.org, find the flier on the main page, and click on the PayPal button to pay. Because we have a celebrity at every table, space is going to be very limited. So please consider attending this amazing event, and supporting an organization that we all care a lot about!
Best,
Nick Rogers Treasurer, ACAC
