After 15 years of doing other art forms (painting, photgraphy, etc.) I have returned to doing my original form- collage;  in my case, paper collage, an approach to art originated by Braque and Picasso in the early 20th century. This coming Friday, October 24, I will be demonstrating my approach to paper collage at the Starving Artist Cafe from 5:30-8:30. Anything I create during that time will be for sale. I'll also have several paper collages (old and new) available for your perusal.  Hope to see you there.

Although I was not present for most of the Art Walk Friday night,. the reports I recieved were of a very nice crowd like that shown above at the Baker House early in the evening. Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
