My Bio as written by my agent at Illustartist-

The young illustrator/photographer resides in the Ozark Hills in Arkansas, the United States. The nature and wildlife surrounding her opens up horizons to her mind. Having lived her whole life rural and home-schooled as a child, independence and imagination have always been strong points of hers. Her eclectic taste in literature, music and movies has always aided her open and broad-mindedness, serving with inspiration at the same time.

In literature, modernism and postmodernism are what touches her most, not to mention fantasy which is her constant source of inspiration. European history and architecture with the airy stonework of gothic cathedrals and the never-ending variety of costumes inspires her tremendously. Her color drawings of stained glass windows represent ballads at times, at other times the mysterious airs surrounding the cathedrals with their creatures, or medieval handlings of central themes such as death. We can also find an inspiration from Asian culture in her drawings and paintings. Her portraits are of a loose and realistic style, her depiction of fantasy creatures is always an excellent manifestation of their mysterious, transcendental and often dark nature. Her traditional paintings or drawings are often retouched with Corel Painter, giving them a magical quality and smooth, bright colors. Her first real encounter with artistic activities comes from her own family whose tradition in intricate woodworking gave her a refined taste early in life.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
