I have a God given talent I want to share with you. I have no formal training, but with Gods Help i have learned a lot.I am a Arkansas artist, 70 years old and 62 Years of my life I have been painting and loving every second of it. I have a small gallery on lake Conway.Lakeside-art.com. I would love to show you my paintings. I paint my many memories of Arkansas and things that make me smile.I love to paint the Farmers Market and all the wonderful sites there. The simple life is the best life. I Have lived in North Little Rock , Arkansas most.of my life. My dad was Fred Duncan .He owned Duncan Drug store at 311 Maple street.I have seen a lot of changes since 1942, i lived on west 5th street till 1957. I am now showing my art on Tue.and Sat.at River Market (Farmer's Market )in Little Rock. I am in the West tower, ground floor. Lots of wonderful things to see there.Farmers Market is a great place to explore.I will start back soon as it is a little warmer. I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
