I am the son of the deceased artist, Marion Sue Bradford Thompson. She was a World Renowned Artist specializing in Authentic Steamboat paintings. I have her remaining work and want to share it with others. My wife Bridget is also helping me as much as her time allows.

This is about my mother, not myself.
Marion Sue was born in Paragould, Arkansas on 6/28/26 and passed away in Jonesboro, Arkansas on 7/13/07.
She has shown her work in France, California, Washington, D C, NYC, New Orleans, as well as many other cities. Several Arkansas Senators were collectors along with the late Lionel Hampton. Marion Sue had a one person show at one of Mr. Hampton's concerts.
Marion Sue also had one person shows aboard two Steamboats, the Delta Queen on her maiden voyage on the Arkansas River and the Delta King, docked in Sacramento, California. The artist was confident in several different mediums. Among them are Oil, Watercolor, Batik, and Pen and Ink. She has many landscape paintings from right here in Arkansas. She has several paintings in Museums including two at the United States Coast Guard Museum in Miami, Fl. This could go on and on but you are more than welcome to read all about her on the website we have made for her.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
