| I can't believe it, but I just counted up a total of 40 years that I have been painting....off and on during the period of raising my kids.
Even though most of my life has been spent in Southern California, I now live in "artsy" Eureka Springs...where the misfits, fit. I can paint most any subject, but during the past few years, I have concentrated on dog paintings...not the ordinary, but done in an unique way. I'm also doing a doll series, again, not the ordinary, but blah, blah, blah. I have shown in many shows and have won awards. Tonight is the first time I have seen your website, and it looks interesting. I think this is enough about me.....and you probably agree. Keep up the good work Betty Betina Johnson |

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.
As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".
Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
