In celebration of Halloween, the Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre will host a special evening for families on Friday, October 31, 2008.

Tickets to the 7 p.m. performance of Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business will be sold at half-price, $7 for adults and $5.50 for children.  Seating is general admission

Children are encouraged to attend the play in costume.  After the play, children will walk across the Children’s  Theatre stage in a costume parade.  Children will also have an opportunity to meet Junie B. Jones and have her autograph their favorite Junie B.   Jones book.

Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business is about Junie B.’s huge dilemma of finding something great for show-and-tell.  When she overhears her Grandma dub her new little brother “the cutest little monkey,” Junie B. can’t believe her ears.  If she brought her little brother, a real live monkey, to school for show-and-tell, she would be the coolest kid in kindergarten.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
