Studied graphic design and art history at Oklahoma
State University from 1995 - 1998. Co-owner of the
Northwest Arkansas based Pixelbenders Design Studio. Taking home ADDYs and Outlet Awards since 1999.

Co-founder of the Northwest Arkansas Art Directors
Club, founded in 2003. Club president 2003 - 2005,
Chairman of the Board 2005 - 2008.

Instructor at the New Design School, Spring 2008.

Born in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, raised in between
Boulder and Estes Park, Colorado. Went to high
school in Scottsdale, Arizona, military school at
NMMI in Roswell, N.M. and finished off the tour of
midwest high schools in Rogers, Arkansas. Dabbled
in visual arts the entire time. Graphite, pen and
ink, acrylics,oils, charcoal, airbrush, and
watercolors were all tinkered with.

Took a break from hyper-realism the last few years
to work on an abstract watercolor series called “The
Hotel Series”, showcased here. Currently working on a new watercolor study called “Intricate Abstracts” which can be seen in the piece “Still Remains”. To begin work on preliminary sketches for a childrens book called “Zoobizarre” this fall.

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
