My husband and I enjoy spending time together and taking pictures as a wonderful and exciting hobby. I have always enjoyed taking pictures but my real fascination with photography started about five years ago when I got my first digital camera. I began by taking photos of my grandchildren and soon the whole family (including the dog) quickly became victims. When family and friends were unwilling or unavailable I turned to capturing the beauty of nature. Tagging along with my husband on his hunting or fishing weekends has given us plenty of opportunity to photograph wildlife and nature. Capturing the way the light shines through the clouds or the way the colors blend into the landscapes always present such an awesome inspiration for our photos. Whether we are taking pictures of our beautiful grandchildren or of God's beautiful scenery, it is a wonderful way to mentally escape into a Serene Scene.

Your Canvas Junkie Host

I am your host at Canvas Junkie and work in several media. I design and make one of a kind sculpture you can wear or jewelry.

As well as paint, make found object sculpture and generally will chase after anything sparkly. When I was a teen my dad would introduce me as his daughter with the disclaimer of "You know artists are weird".

Now that I have seen many years of life pass by (I'm in denial about exactly how many)............. I'm happy to be known as an artist because....... life is just weird.
